Scrum for babies!!
I wanted to share with you a fun way to explain the Scrum framework that I recently came up with. Imagine explaining Scrum to a baby! 😅
Scrum is a way that grown-ups work together to make things, just like how babies work with their parents to learn new things.
In Scrum, a team of grown-ups works together to make something, just like how a baby and their parents work together to build a tower with blocks. The team has a leader, called a Scrum Master, who helps everyone on the team to work together and be happy, just like how a baby's parents guide and support them.
The team also has a special meeting every day where they talk about what they did the day before and what they will do today, just like how parents might talk to their baby about what they did yesterday and what they will do today. They call this meeting a "stand-up" because everyone stands up during it.
When the team finishes a part of the project, they show it to other grown-ups who might use it, just like how a baby might show their completed tower to their family. They ask the other grown-ups if they like it and what they can do to make it better, just like how a baby might ask their parents if they like their tower and what they can do to make it taller or stronger.
So, there you have it! Scrum is a way that grown-ups work together to make things by talking to each other, working together, and asking for feedback, just like how babies work with their parents to learn and grow.
Thanks for reading, and I hope this baby-friendly explanation of Scrum was helpful! 😀
